The Out of the Darkness Campus Walk is hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), Cal Poly Campus Health & Wellbeing, and SLO Behavioral Health. This free gathering supports AFSP’s education, research, and survivor support programs. In addition to raising awareness and funds to fight suicide, the 1-mile walk around campus gives those who attend a chance to connect with others and know they are not alone. Sign up to walk or volunteer at afsp.org/slo.
