The CalFresh Outreach team needs student interns to help provide education and support their counterparts by improving their access to healthy food. The team is made up of fun, creative and dedicated students! Internships often lead to paid positions! They also provide an opportunity to apply your learning while learning new skills through experiences in private client consultations, education and outreach, marketing and social media, customer service, understanding federal guidelines on food aid (SNAP), partnering on campus and in the community, data collection, project coordination and more! Specifically seeking those interested in furthering skills in data collection/follow-up, client consultation and outreach/presentations. The outreach team values a spectrum of skills and majors to further diversify the team’s perspectives. Interns should be available for about five hours of work per week during the fall quarter.
