StandUPTV researchers at Cal Poly are looking for participants for a sedentary screen time study. Participants will use a smartphone app that was made to support those who want to reduce their sedentary screen time — any free time you spend watching television, streaming videos online, social media and/or video games while sitting. Participants — students, staff and faculty — aged 23 to 64 will be asked to monitor sedentary screen time, engage with the StandUPTV app for 16 weeks and complete web-based assessments. To see if you qualify to participate, please take a short survey here. Participants can earn up to $100 and a Fitbit! Questions concerning the research study? Contact Dr. Sarah Kozey Keadle at skeadle@calpoly.edu.
