Cal Poly faculty, staff and students have been impacted by recent storms and floods. These experiences can lead to stress, anxiety, fear and despair, among others. Counseling Services will host an hourlong Community Resiliency Model training to assist those affected. The Community Resiliency Model is a wellness initiative created by the Trauma Resource Institute. The goal of CRM is to help create trauma- and resiliency-informed communities by educating participants about the common nervous system reactions to trauma and stress; it teaches six core wellness skills to reset the nervous system’s natural balance. All Cal Poly community members are welcome. The event starts at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 25. It will be held via Zoom. Meeting ID: 891 7371 7915. Passcode: 253614. Questions? Email: cdebliec@calpoly.edu.
