Computer engineering senior Jacqueline Nguyen is developing an American Sign Language translation tool for her senior project. To make her tool more diverse for users, she is conducting a study where she will video-record participants fluent in ASL communicating in ASL. The videos will better refine her computer model for a more accurate, diverse classification of ASL gestures. To participate or for more information, email Nguyen at jnguy450@calpoly.edu.
