Nominations are sought for the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award that honors the faculty member who has had a positive influence on students through academic advising. The nomination should describe the individual’s academic advising services, activities and interactions — distinct from teaching responsibilities — as well as any special activities related to student development. The recipient will receive a $2,000 stipend and be recognized by university President Jeffrey D. Armstrong at the annual fall conference. One faculty member is recognized annually. Current students, faculty and staff can nominate faculty for this award; no self-nominations will be recognized. Deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Monday, March 6.
