Cal Poly will be busy with nearly a dozen capital projects under construction this summer. Highlights include the John Madden Football Center, 1901 Marketplace and the Kennedy Library transformation. These projects are part of the Cal Poly Master Plan, the 20-year blueprint for the campus that was approved in 2015. The projects support and advance the university’s educational mission by guiding the physical development of the campus and its facilities to accommodate student enrollment growth while preserving and enhancing the quality of campus life. With so many exciting campus developments comes temporary traffic and parking impacts. Those coming to campus over the summer can check online for the latest project updates and up-to-date parking lot and street closures.
