Starting February 19, 2024, Duo Multi-Factor Authentication will be updated to introduce a new prompt, offering improved security features and a refreshed look. Please know that this new look and functionality is planned and not a security concern. No action on your part is required to trigger this change.
What will happen when I log into my email or other service with Duo on or after Feb. 19, 2024?

Log in to an application with your Cal Poly Account as you usually would. If you are due for a Duo notification, the new Duo prompt will automatically replace the old one, changing the look of your login page.

Duo’s new prompt will present the most secure method to authenticate you. Choose this option.

Duo will remember your choice and present that method the next time you log in. It’s that simple.
Why the Change?
Duo is enhancing its prompt screen to boost both security and user experience. The new Duo prompt features a redesigned interface with improved security measures, ensuring a faster and more straightforward login process.
